Despite the tense economic situation, Quentic was able to win over more than 30 new customers interested in advancing their Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Corporate Responsibility (CSR) management during the first half of the year. The software platform and app combine to support users in meeting the new regulations and requirements imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic. COVID-19-related risk assessments and online instructions as well as the offerings of the software modules Health & Safety, Online Instructions, Legal Compliance and Risks & Audits in particular are contributing valuable content to this end. Over 100 public administrations are currently using selected parts of these services and content free of charge, as part of Quentic’s support campaign to help combat the pandemic crisis.

Quentic, the Berlin-based software provider for occupational safety, environmental management and sustainability needs, is optimistic about the second half of 2020. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the company was able to increase its recurring revenues during the first six months and continues to expand its team in Europe. New employees joined the German headquarters, the Finnish, Danish and Dutch branches and the newly opened offices in France, Spain, Italy and Sweden.
“The coronavirus pandemic has forced the world economy to rapidly grind to a halt, and we at Quentic have also felt the impact. Many companies had to postpone decision-making processes and the situation remains challenging for us and the market”, states Markus Becker, CEO of Quentic. “Nevertheless, we are looking positively at the past and upcoming months.” One reason for the optimism is that many companies and branches are also using the crisis as an opportunity to increase their digitalization efforts.
Vitesco Technologies, Swisslog and Parques Reunidos choose to optimize their EHS management with Quentic
Among the newly contracted customers is Vitesco Technologies. In the course of the planned spin-off from its parent company Continental AG, the powertrain technology developer and manufacturer is set to manage its EHS and CSR efforts digitally with Quentic.
Swisslog AG, a provider of data- and robot-controlled intralogistics solutions, has taken their first steps in introducing Quentic. The Swiss-based global company will standardize its EHS processes with the software platform and use it as part of the implementation of ISO 45001.
The intuitive user interface which supports all major European languages was a key reason for the Spanish amusement park operator choosing Quentic. As one of the leading leisure park operators in the world, the company is aiming to advance its sustainability strategies in its more than 50 parks across Europe, the USA and Australia along with strengthening its environmental management and creating a safer workplace for its more than 10,000 employees located in 12 countries.
COVID-19 increases occupational safety requirements and drives digitalization forward
As an integrated online platform capable of managing and networking all of a company’s EHS-related processes, Quentic also supported its users in implementing the new health and safety regulations which were introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instructions on infection prevention and remote work, which could be carried out online, and other Corona-related risk assessment templates and operating instructions were provided to customers to help them enact an effective and flexible pandemic response and infection prevention plan. With this ready-to-use content, Quentic has been able to support public administrations free of charge during the pandemic and will continue to do so. More than 100 municipalities and public authorities have already taken advantage of this offering.
