It is no new discovery that PUMA SAFETY safety shoes combine the highest comfort with a sporty look. But with the new models in the MOTION CLOUD line, the Lippstadt-based manufacturer ISM Heinrich Krämer is now launching a safety shoe line that even surpasses previous standards.
INFINITE POWER. MAXIMUM CONTROL. – It is under this motto that PUMA SAFETY launches the new safety shoes of the Motion Cloud line, featuring a perfect combination of cushioning, energy return, stability and athletic design. The intelligent IMPULSE.FOAM® sole technology that reacts to every step with an energy impulse and gives the wearer a “feeling like walking on clouds” is at the heart of these sporty safety shoes. Its seamless shaft made of SAFETY KNIT in striking colours and sporty look adapts to the wearer’s foot like a second skin.
Intelligent new features, such as the integrated POWER PLATE element, enhance the rebound effect of the IMPULSE.FOAM® and take wearing comfort to a whole new level. The POWER PLATE is a unique torsion control element that is unique in safety shoes due to its size and shape and extends from the middle of the sole to the heel. It supports the stability of the entire foot, increases the energy return effect of the IMPULSE.FOAM® and supports the natural rolling movement of the foot with every step.
The specially developed next-generation FAP®lite protection against perforation made of non-metallic, extremely tear-resistant textile fibres also delivers a particular boost when it comes to comfort and safety. A 50% lighter weight and a particularly high degree of flexibility ensure that the protection against perforation offers the wearer unlimited protection, while not being noticeable to the eye. Increased shock absorption and pressure elasticity also enhance the wearing comfort. Enhanced breathability and sweat absorption create a cooling effect and improve the transport of moisture in the shoe.
The safety shoes in the Motion Cloud line feature an anatomically shaped insole that can be individually adapted to the wearer’s foot, allowing replacement without any loss of safety features. The EVERCUSHION® CUSTOM FIT, which is available in three different versions, is designed for the narrow, normal or wide foot. An arch support that is adapted to the shape of the foot allows the foot to be positioned naturally in the shoe and stimulates the muscles when walking. The EVERCUSHION® CUSTOM FIT MID for the normal foot is included in the safety shoes as standard.
All models feature a spacious fiberglass toe cap with a low weight and comply with ESD requirements. In addition to four models of safety class S1P with a low shaft made of SAFETY KNIT, the line is supplemented by a model in safety class S3 with a high shaft made of full-grain leather. The Charge Green Low from the Motion Cloud line has also been awarded the iF Design Award 2020 for its outstandingly sporty look and functional features.
The entire PUMA SAFETY range from the Motion Cloud line will be available in specialist retailers and selected online retailers from August 2020.
