It is no new discovery that Puma Safety safety shoes combine the highest comfort with a sporty look. The new Moto Protect range from Puma Safety combines design elements from the world of motor- sports with uncompromising comfort.

– Puma Safety launches its new Moto Protect series safety shoes inspired by the world of motorsports to combine optimal shock dampening and perfect comfort for a real motorsport feel- ing.
The Moto Protect series features a directly injected dual PU sole for extreme durability that is also equipped with a shock-absorbing midsole. The lightweight PU sole ensures shocks are dampened across the entire surface of the shoe. The outsole features a design based on a tyre tread profile that helps guide away liquids, mud and dirt to provide optimal grip on any terrain (SRC). The MTSP Torsion Control Element increases stability across the length of the foot and to further actively help you move forward and enable a dynamic walking motion. The rounded, elevated heel area of the outsole (“Drivers Heel”) is also inspired by motorsports to support the natural rolling motion of the foot and protects against heavy wear and tear.
The specially developed next-generation FAP®lite protection against perforation made of non-metallic, extremely tear-resistant textile fibres delivers a particular boost when it comes to comfort and safety. A particularly high degree of flexibility ensures that the protection against perforation offers the wearer unlimited protection, while remaining barely noticeable. Increased shock absorption and pressure elasticity also increase the wearing comfort. Enhanced breathability and sweat absorption create a cooling effect and improve the transport of moisture in the shoe.
Moto Protect safety shoes feature the Evercushion® Plus high performance footbed. Its combination of pol- yurethane and Poron® reliably protects the heel from shocks. The additional impact dampening easily with- stands the rigours of daily life and guarantees long-lasting comfort and performance.
All models are equipped with a spacious toe cap made of lightweight fibreglass and feature inner lacing with no protruding elements which accentuates the slender design as well as BreathActive functional lining.
The series consist of eight different models in the S3 safety class, two of which additionally conform to American Standard ASTM F2413 to protect against electrical shocks up to 18,000 volts (electrical hazard). All three models with a tall shaft also feature an Ankle Protect Element to provide lateral impact protection for the heels.
One model, the Touring Black Mid made from smooth top quality leather, has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award 2021 for its distinctive design.
