| Makefast Ltd are excited to announce the launch of their new improved Double Action Safety Hook. Its unique single-handed, double action locking system works so that if only one lever is depressed the hook DOES NOT OPEN. Both levers must be operated to allow the gate to open, making it impossible to open accidentally. It also ensures that the user’s hands are free from the gate, so no catching or fouling. The double action safety hook fixes to attachments up to 20mm (0.75 inches) in diameter, with a static breaking load of 20KN. It is made in type 316 marine grade stainless steel, with nylon 6 (A28GM) plastic fairing that provides secure grip and reduces deck damage if dropped.
