On 12 September 2017, the MDDSZ will organize free training of small employers for work with the OiRA risk assessment tool online in Ravne na Koroškem.
Risk assessment is an important first step in preventing accidents at work and occupational diseases. The Health and Safety at Work Act therefore provides that employers are obliged to assess in writing the risks to which workers are exposed or likely to be exposed at work. The OiRA tool greatly facilitates this process, enabling the identification of risks, their assessment, and the identification of measures to eliminate or reduce risks.
The OiRA tool enables micro and small employers to estimate the risk in their business in a relatively simple way. It makes sense to learn how to use it also for those employers who have entrusted themselves with the performance of all or individual tasks of organizing and providing safety at work to outside professional services that have a work permit.
The Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities continues this autumn with the free workshops “Practical training for employers to work with the online risk assessment tool OiRA online risk assessment tool – Working in offices”. The next workshop will be held on Tuesday, 12 September 2017, in Ravne na Koroskem.
