“Healthy Workplaces – Detecting and Handling Dangerous Substances” is the motto of the campaign that the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) will carry out over the next two years. The German kick-off event will take place on 25 April in the DASA Arbeitswelt exhibition in Dortmund. The Director of EU-OSHA , dr . Christa Sedlatschek, will present the campaign.
Almost 60 percent of reported occupational diseases can be traced back to chemical and biological agents. Dust, gases, vapors and mists are still a big problem for the health of many employees and are often not immediately recognizable as hazardous substances. At the press conference, we would like to introduce you not only to the campaign, but also current figures and developments from Germany. Representatives from science, politics, business and trade unions are available to talk to you.
The press conference will take place on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 12 o’clock in Room 0018 of the DASA Arbeitswelt Exhibition, Friedrich-Henkel-Weg 1-25, 44149 Dortmund.
