This industry-first event will bring together professionals from across health, safety and environment, with speakers from the World Meteorology Organization (WMO) and IDTechEx already confirmed.
Join Health & Safety International, Health & Safety Middle East, and AWE International as they launch an expert-led, virtual summit on the latest research and development in gas detection on Wednesday, 28th June at 11am BST.
From potentially explosive atmospheres to industrial emissions, gas detection technologies play a vital part in ensuring worker safety in dangerous environments and in the mitigation of wider environmental impacts to our climate and health.
Industry experts will lead themed presentations exploring innovation and research in gas detection for personal safety, explosive atmospheres as well as Industry and the environment. Discussions will be encouraged to drive action and spark discourse across keynotes.
“We have a really exciting line-up of speakers”, says Editor and Host, Ana Martins. “I can’t wait to share their expertise with our attendees.”
The current agenda features Dr Mathew Dyson, Principal Technology Analyst at IDTechEx who will be looking at current technological innovations in the gas detection market, and Dr Oksana Tarasova, Senior Scientific Officer at the World Meteorological Organization, who will be sharing her team’s greenhouse gas emissions monitoring network and how the data they collect could help businesses looking to reduce their emissions. More speakers are expected to be added soon.
“It’s going to be a great chance for individuals to ask questions and find out more about the latest happenings in gas detection from the people at the forefront of it.” Ana adds, “The topic is incredibly timely and I’m looking forward to a good panel discussion at the end to really get a discourse going with our audience as well.”
This will be the first summit organised by Haymarket Media Group’s new HSE International (HSEI) brand, which houses their portfolio of health, safety and environmental publications.
