Science-based technology company 3M and premium manufacturer Scott Safety will exhibit as one for the first time at The Health & Safety Event this year.
The companies will host a joint stand at the event, which runs from 10 to 12 April at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, following 3M’s acquisition of Scott Safety in 2017.
At the stand – number HS102 – 3M will showcase its popular fall protection demonstration van, showing how different types of fall protection equipment (FPE) cope with falls from various heights.
3M will also display its wide range of personal protective equipment (PPE), with technical experts on hand to answer visitors’ questions.
As a result of the Scott Safety acquisition, this range now includes self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) systems, gas and flame detection instruments, and other innovative devices, alongside 3M’s pre-existing offering.
Also at the show, 3M will once again be hosting the popular Safety Dialogue section, taking part in informative, interactive discussions between the audience and panels of expert speakers. The Safety Dialogue section also provides an excellent way for visitors to network with leading authorities from their respective industries after each event.
Steve Crouchley, senior marketer for the 3M Personal Safety division, said: “We’re looking forward to yet another great show at The Health & Safety event in April, and are excited that 3M and Scott Safety will be exhibiting as one for the first time.
“This marks an important symbolic milestone for 3M, as it will be the first time that health and safety professionals have seen our two brands together at a trade event, illustrating our newly expanded offering.
“We look forward to speaking with visitors and encourage them to stop by our stand.”
