Notes:
Innovations in Subsea Technology, Operations, and Design to Meet Safety Standards and Deliver Safety Excellence
Two years on, Post-Macondo, incidents are still continuing to arise. Regulators, operators, contractors, and equipment providers are all striving to improve safety on both a technical and operational level. Safety standards and precautions have been increased in an effort to eliminate tragedies on the same scale as Macondo altogether, or at the very least ensure that they are dealt with more effectively. And whilst these new standards are paramount in preserving safety for the offshore industry, there are a number of measures that still need to be taken into consideration in order to pre-empt risk to personnel, assets and the environment.
Updated safety regulations must be met; new safety practices must be implemented and emerging technology that mitigate these hazards must be explored. Only when these three principles are integrated and applied can the industry dramatically reduce any risk to their subsea developments. In doing so, they will optimise both safety and efficiency within their developments, whilst significantly decreasing risks and cost.
This timely 3 day intensive course will bring together all the leading safety experts – operators, contractors, equipment providers and all other major stakeholders to take a deep dive into the key technical challenges that the subsea industry is currently facing from deepwater developments, to cold water engineering; from exploring new designs to maintaining the integrity of equipment; this course is designed to arm the industry with the tools they will need to deliver a consistent and proactive level of safety excellence.
Leading Experts Discussing the Key Issues:
Join the international operators, contractors and leading subsea safety experts who will share their insights and experiences on:
